Developed by Odis, Tower Hero is a roguelike run across the procedurally-generated floors of the eponymous tower. Players will take on the role of mighty hero and run the gauntlet against hordes of enemies. Every time they fall, they will come back even stronger, increasing their odds of reaching the higher floors, and eventually the summit, where their final victory awaits.
Levels are completely randomised, so they will be different on each playthrough. The stages are divided into themed zones with unique traps and enemies to pit your skills against, and there are epic boss battles to contend with before you can ascend to the next floor.
Tower Hero allows players to put their own personal stamp on their hero, with 20 different hairstyles to choose from and various headgears to equip to gain new abilities. There are also more than 20 weapon types to wield, including bows, swords, sceptres, axes. And to ensure that their heroes are stronger on every playthrough, players can upgrade their character and level up their abilities to help increase their chances of further progression every time.
Tower Hero is available now for free on Google Play with an iOS version set to arrive on the App Store in the near future. It’s free to download with adverts and in-app purchases included.
