Pokémon GO’s new Season of Heritage is looking to solve mysteries of the past. Professor Willow has just had his first breakthrough as a part of the mysterious door located at the historical cave site has been activated! The door’s locking mechanism began causing a rumbling movement, which disturbed all the Pokémon in the cave, and one we’ve not seen before emerged from within.
Druddigon, the Cave Pokémon, is making its debut on Pokémon GO. Hailing from the Unova Region, Druddigon and many other Pokémon dwelling in the cave all belong to the Dragonspiral Tower. This leads us to the season’s second event – Dragonspiral Descent.
Our debutant, Druddigon will be appearing in the wild and if you’re lucky enough you may just catch a shiny one! Activating a part of the cave has also caused the emergence of Fire, Electric, and Ice-type Pokémon like Vulpix, Dratini, Darumaka, Dragonair, Vibrava, Deino, and more! All of these Pokémon bear a mysterious connection to the Legendary Dragon-type Pokémon from the Unova region – Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem.
A Collection Challenge will also be active to celebrate Druddigon’s arrival. By completing challenges by collecting Pokémon featured during this event will reward you with 1,000 XP and 3,000 Stardust, and also a direct encounter with the Cave Pokémon!
Moving onto Raids, check out all the Pokémon you will be able to battle and capture:
- One-Star Raids – Tynamo, Litwick, Cubchoo, Golett, and Deino
- Three-Star Raids- Electabuzz, Magmar, Lapras, Dragonite, and Druddigon
- Five-Star Raids – Reshiram and Zekrom
- Mega Raids – Mega Steelix
There will also be Field Research tasks that guarantee an encounter with Dratini and Sneasel when you complete them. With some luck by your side, you might even get an encounter with Druddigon and Deino, or any of their shiny variants! Finally, a special one-time-purchase Event Box is available for 175 PokéCoins, that contains three Remote Raid Passes to use.
