Orianna is the next champion we will cover, and she’s another one of the champions that I find extremely fun to play and strong. Over time, Orianna has been a consistent pick in pro play as well, since her kit is designed in such a way that she doesn’t exactly have a “weakness”.

With tons of crowd control, consistent damage, and unique playstyle, Orianna is definitely a great pick for any team, and can really turn the tides of any battle in her favor with the press of a single button – Command: Shockwave. That skill is so unique to this champion, that it leaves room for (more or less) unlimited options!

Her unique kit and backstory make her a great pick for anyone trying to main a mid laner, especially one that can be viable in every situation. So without further ado, let’s dive right in!

In this League of Legends: Wild Rift Orianna guide you’ll find everything you need to know about the champion, from her skills and how to allocate them to her build, skill combo, and runes. This is what you will find in the Orianna guide below:

– Orianna’s skills

League of Legends: Wild Rift Orianna’s skills:

Clockwork Windup (Passive)

Orianna’s Attacks deal additional magic damage. This damage increases the more Orianna Attacks the same target.

Command: Attack (Skill 1)

Orianna commands her Ball to fire toward a target location, dealing magic damage to targets along the way (deals less damage to subsequent targets). Her Ball remains at the target location after.

Command: Dissonance (Skill 2)

Orianna commands her Ball to release a pulse of energy, dealing magic damage around it. This leaves a field behind that speeds up allies and slows enemies.

Command: Protect (Skill 3)

Orianna commands her Ball to attach to an allied champion, Shielding them and dealing magic damage to any enemies it passes through on the way. Additionally, the Ball grants additional Armor and Magic Resist to the champion it is attached to.

Command: Shockwave (Skill 4 / Ultimate)

Orianna commands her Ball to unleash a shockwave, dealing magic damage and launching nearby enemies towards the Ball after a short delay.

How to combo as Orianna:

Orianna has a couple of unique things about her skill combo: she can be both a “support” damage dealer, a heavy control mage, and a defense-shredding machine.

– Harass your enemies in lane: Skill 1 -> Skill 2 -> auto-attack -> Skill 3 (if you need to)

This small but powerful combo works by simply poking down your opponent with the ball and a few auto-attacks. Ori excels at short trades in lane since she can shield herself anytime and mitigate some of the damage she will receive.

– All-in your opponents: Skill 1 -> Skill 4 (ultimate) -> Skill 2 -> Auto-attack -> Skill 3

The best way to use your Skill 2 after your Skill 4, is because the enemy will not be able to escape it. Most opponents will just die to die or to the following auto-attacks, so it’s a great way to assert your lane dominance!

– Place your ball on a teammate who will go in with Skill 3 -> Skill 4

This is the best way to surprise your enemies with an ultimate since chances are they will not spot the ball attached to the opponent charging at them. It also works wonders in team fights.

– Use your Skill 2 alone for the movement speed increase

If you’re chasing down enemies, doing so while casting Skill 2 is great. You can place the ball in front of you (on your path) with Skill 1, cast Skill 2 for the boost of movement speed, and keep attacking the enemies.

In what order to level up the skills?

For Orianna, you want to level up her skills as follows:

Level 1: Skill 1
Level 2: Skill 2
Level 3: Skill 3
Level 4: Skill 1
Level 5: Skill 4
Level 6: Skill 1
Level 7: Skill 1

Keep leveling Skill 1 until it’s maxed, then focus on Skill 2, and lastly on Skill 3. Don’t forget to keep adding 1 point into your Skill 4 (ultimate) whenever possible.

The best summoner spells for Orianna:

Ignite: Ignites target enemy champion, dealing 60-410 true damage (based on level) over 5 seconds and inflicting them with Grievous Wounds. (Grievous Wounds reduces healing effects by 50%).
Flash: Teleport a short distance forward or towards the aimed direction.

The best runes for Orianna:

The best items for Orianna:

Boots:

Ionian Stasis is the boot you want in most situations.

Ionian Teleport works well if you want to have a lot more mobility around the map.
