Kingsense, a grid-based RPG set in a futuristic world was officially launched on May 13, 2021. Since then, a number of issues have been reported with the game, leading to a less than ideal release. As a result, the developers have made the drastic decision to completely shut off the game’s servers.
This came as a surprise to many, but players who’ve constantly played the game (or tried to) reported a large number of issues with it – much too large for anyone’s liking actually. Characters were being released without voiceovers, they had broken animations and a problematic gacha system on top of th at. Players who are familiar with such games know all too well how anti-fun a gacha that won’t reward specific and anticipated characters can ruin a game.
When will Kingsense shut down?
The game is set to cease all operations on October 22nd, at 15:00 (GMT+8). That’s when all the servers will be completely shut down and the official website closed.
Kingsense will be available for download until October 15th, 2021 (15:00 GMT+8), so if you’re eager to give it a try before it’s officially gone, now is your chance. After this date, no new accounts or in-game purchases can be made.
While the servers for Kingsense will shut down, players who want to try out a similar game from the same developer can benefit from a few in-game perks in another Superprism game (with a lot more success), Illusion Connect.
“As a rebate for recharges, all paying users can get diamonds in “Illusion Connect” and the number of diamonds that can be obtained is determined by the cumulative recharge amount paid by players as of October 15th, 2021 at 15:00 (GMT+8) in Kingsense. The payment to diamond ration is $1=60 diamonds.”
“Compensations for paying users: a) A player should download Illusion Connect and use the same account they had connected to Kingsense for character creation as a first step. The designated servers they should use are AS20-Brooke, US20-Lewis, or EU14-Peter (they should use the same Google or Facebook accounts for both games). b) Users need to send a private message to the “Kingsense” Facebook fan page or contact a Discord administrator to provide screenshots of the server(s) they are active in Kingsense and Illusion Connect, their character ID interface, and their account UID (see image 2 and 3 for examples). After their identity is successfully verified, the compensations will be sent to their Illusion Connect account within 7 working days via in-game mail.”
What that means is that if a player has spent money in Kingsense and want to try out Illusion Connect, they will get exclusive benefits by following these steps:
- Create an account on one of the following servers: AS20-Brooke, US23-Lewis or EU14-Peter using the same account they used in Kingsense (Facebook or Google).
- Send a message to the Kingsense Facebook account or the Kingsense Discord admin with screenshots from both servers (both Kingsense and Illusion Connect), as well as their User ID.
- After the account has been confirmed, paying players will receive Diamonds in Illusion Connect equal to the amount of money charged in Kingsense (until October 15th), at a rate of 60 Diamonds per $1.
An Illusion Connect redeem code with a rather dark story?
As many players have probably noticed, a new code has been added to our Illusion Connect redeem codes page. The code is #IC92C8D2, and while it’s great to receive free rewards, the story behind it is not one we like to see, especially when it comes to games players dedicate a lot of time to.
This code offers 200 Diamonds, 1 Trinity SR Partners, and 100k Gold, and it’s valid until the end of the year as compensation for Kingsense shutting down.
On the bright side, if you’re eager to get started on the right foot in Illusion Connect, here is an updated tier list to help you out!
