Funko Pop! Blitz celebrates love this Valentine’s Day weekend with new Princess Bride crossover

Funko Pop! Blitz, the match-3 puzzle game from N3TWORK, has centred its latest weekly update all around love for Valentine’s Day.

This week, you can launch Funko Pop! Blitz to encounter courageous adventurers, bold heroes, gentle giants, dastardly villains and true love as you play a new collection taken from the 1987 film The Princess Bride.

This crossover event runs from today until 17th February, giving you plenty of time to login and enjoy the new collection. In that time, you’re able to collect The Princess Bride event pops such as Westley, Princess Buttercup, Inigo Montoya, and Fezzik. To do this, you must drop the Goblet items that appear in every match of Funko Pop! Blitz to the bottom of the board.

If you manage to collect all four, you can also earn the Legendary Event (and digital exclusive) Pop Vizzini. This leads to a special reward at the end of the month, but it has not yet been revealed what exactly this is.
If you don’t know what Funko Pop! Blitz is, it’s a match-3 game based on the popular collectible figures that have dominated pop culture over the past decade or so. The game frequently adds in crossover events with other franchises, and has previously featured iconic characters from media like Back to the Future, Shrek, The Office, Parks and Recreation, and How to Train Your Dragon.

If you want to check out the new content for yourself, you can download Funko Pop! Blitz from the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store. It’s a free to play app containing in-app purchases.
