Games developer Supercolony has released a new aRPG called Catopia: Rush, which was previously a soft-launch on Android but is now on both iOS and Android as a full release.
Catopia: Rush has you assembling an army of feline warriors who have teamed up to defeat an evil dark lord and save the kingdom. These heroes have their own skills and roles, being fitted into either Tank, Support, Mage and Warrior, where each one has its own strengths and weaknesses.
The important part is keeping your units healed during combat. You must ensure your mages are safe while also keeping your damage dealers active. The thing is, however, that only your playable hero can be damaged. But if they are defeated then so is the entire team.
There are also really simple one-handed controls, where you tap to attack, swipe to dodge and your team will follow your orders easily. It’s pretty accessible for just about anyone to play, but Supercolony also recommends you check out the higher difficulties too.
Catopia: Rush originally launched a beta test earlier this year, where players provided feedback to help shape the game’s balance and content. Some of these tweaks included changes to team composition that includes one playable hero and three allies that follow you.
If you’re after a challenge, the game also includes rewards for players who beat a stage without taking any damage. These levels are adjusted with new rewards and unique content, and there are also daily challenges to help hone your skills.
